Dave and Tonya have owned this beautiful low time 152 since they purchased it from their local FBO at Mt. Vernon, Illinois in 2000. The airplane has now been based at Mt. Vernon for more than 15 years, lovingly  serviced and hangared by the same maintenance staff  the entire time. N24856 has just over 4,100 hours total time as of June 2005.

Dave and his daughter Nancy received their pilot's licenses on the very same day in 1997, and now share use of the airplane, flying it about 100 hours a year. The airplane is nearly 100% original, the engine has been overhauled once, and the original transponder overhauled,  only the original Navcom has been replaced with a more modern unit.

Dave and Tonya bring the airplane to the club Clinton fly-in every year. They consider N24856 a member of the family, and look forward to teaching their granddaughters (presently age 3 and 6) to fly in the airplane.
