Winter is over and spring is in the air. We head to Kansas and meet Geoff Vincent and his beautiful “L” model he calls “The Canary.” This is his second 150. The first was a 150J and flew just fine, but Geoff wanted a little more umph. The Canary has a 150 HP Lycoming up front, and all the goodies inside to make it a good IFR airplane. Geoff’s kids Samira and Marcel are always up for a ride with dad, but they have to get the Canary ready first. Patience dad, and congrats on your selection as the Cessna 150-152 Club’s Aircraft of the Quarter. Read all about Geoff and his Canary in the Summer edition of The Beacon.
The Canary is a 1974 Cessna 150L S/N 15074873
Welcome to our home on the World Wide Web.
This is the official website for the Cessna 150-152 Club, the "Best type club in general aviation."
Since 1980 the Cessna 150-152 Club has been the place to go for information about the Cessna 150 and 152. In these pages you will find the latest news, social information about our club, and technical information about each model of the Cessna 150 and 152. From photos, to STCs, to light bulbs, it's all here.
We also have a very active forum where you can post your adventures, or have your maintenance questions answered by people who own and maintain these wonderful aircraft.
We have fun with our little airplanes too. Information about Fly Outs, group get togethers, and the annual Cessna 150-152 Fly-In can be found right here.
Some of the stuff is free, but only members get the technical stuff, and it's well worth the price of admission. To join the club, click on the Join Us button below.
